That means the Popular is so well sealed from water damage that you can submerge it in up to 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. The street tires grip the road well, with a wide profile and low tread. The Popular’s tires are pre-sealed, allowing you to keep riding, for example, after you get a nail and remove it. The Dualtron Popular comes with an all new display designed by Minimotors. The LCD is full color with a large screen that provides your riding statistics at a glance, including speedometer, riding mode, battery charge, and more. The Popular is Bluetooth-enabled, so you can access all settings directly in the display or pair the scooter with your smartphone for added security. In the Dualtron app, you can adjust performance settings and tailor the readout to your preferences. You can also set security options. Unlike most previous Dualtron scooters, the dashboard is centered on the handlebars, with a rubber button console on the left to control your lights and horn and a finger throttle accelerator on the right.

Over 20-Mile Range with 52V Battery 

Commuter electric scooters should have ample battery capacity, so you can ride more and charge less. The Popular scooter comes with a powerful 52V 14Ah battery with a smart battery management system to prevent thermal runaways, overcurrent, and other electrical issues. With 1300 Wh of battery capacity, the Popular offers 25 miles of riding time. Although the high quality battery pack will last for many charge cycles, you can easily replace it when needed. The battery is designed to be removed from the bottom of the deck, making for simple long-term maintenance. When you need to recharge, you’ll find the single charging port conveniently located on the neck of the scooter. Remove the rubber cover, plug the adapter into the wall and then into the scooter, and remove the cable as soon as it reaches 100% for best battery health.

Built-In Headlights and Turn Signals

The Dualtron Popular has the essential safety lights that you need when you’re commuting on busy city streets. In fact, some regions around the world require scooters to have certain lights, like blinkers or brake lights, and even a license plate to legally drive on public roads. The Popular e-scooter has built-in headlights on the lower stem, including two 3W LEDs providing a bright, long throw, and a programmable light bar in the stem. On either side of the deck at the front and rear, you’ll find LED turn signals, making it easier for everyone around you to know where you’re headed. Also, the taillight on the rear fender flashes and illuminates when you’re braking. You engage the horn and control all of the lights from the button console on the left handlebar, and the light buttons have indicators so you know they’re on.

New Double Wishbone Suspension

When you’re riding your electric scooter at the end of a long work day, the last thing you want to feel is all the ruts in the road. The Popular has an all-new damping system, with double wishbone suspension on the front and spring suspension on the rear. This double wishbone design helps keep the frontend stable and riding smooth, even on uneven terrain. As your tires find imperfections along the way, the Popular will respond and flex, soaking up vibrations and giving you an enjoyable riding experience. Also, the suspension on the front and rear are enclosed, so there’s less risk of you accidentally damaging the mechanisms as you jaunt around town. Although the dual suspension on the Dualtron Popular is not adjustable, it’s well tailored for anyone that wants to jump on their scooter and go without futzing around too much.

Portable Electric Scooter by Dualtron

Most Dualtron electric scooters are anything but entry-level. Known for their road-ripping acceleration, ridiculous performance, and high prices, you don’t necessarily expect them to fold down and fit in your car. But this commuter electric scooter does. The Dualtron Popular has a new quick-folding design, making it better for throwing in your trunk or taking along with you almost anywhere you want to go. Unlike a bicycle that requires a special rack or mount and doesn’t easily fit inside a vehicle, you can stow the Popular in your car and still have space for packages or passengers. To fold, press down on the lever to fold the stem to the deck, resulting in compact folded dimensions of 48” long by 8” wide by 20.5” tall. Not only can you fold the scooter to make it more compact, you can also collapse the handlebars, so it can fit into narrow spaces.
