What changed: MCO and VIN on every unit
Every RoadRunner Pro V2 now comes with a Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (also called an MSO) and a VIN. That paperwork is the piece most electric scooters have never had, and it is the piece a DMV needs in order to create a title and issue a plate. Without an MCO and a VIN there is nothing for a DMV to register. With them, your RoadRunner Pro V2 can be titled and registered like any other vehicle in its class.
The hardware is already there
Paperwork alone is not enough. A registered machine needs the equipment to go with it, and the Pro V2 ships with it as standard: a headlight, a brake light, turn signals, a horn, mirrors ready to mount, and an integrated license plate mount so the plate has a proper home rather than a zip tie.
Important: your state sets the rules
An MCO and a VIN make registration possible, but every state classifies and registers these machines differently. Some register them as mopeds, some as motor driven cycles, and the requirements for licensing, insurance, helmets, and where you may ride vary accordingly. Before you ride on public roads, confirm your own state requirements with your DMV. We will send you the paperwork you need, but we cannot register the vehicle for you or guarantee how your state will classify it.
