What exactly is an Open Box unit?
A showroom display unit from our own floor. It was built, set out for customers to see and touch, and never sold or ridden on the road. Every photo on its page is the actual unit you receive, not a stock image.
Is anything broken, worn or damaged?
No. Every Open Box unit is pristine: no breakage, no road miles, no worn parts. Look closely at the photos of each unit and you will see it for yourself. If something were wrong with it, it would not be listed here.
Will another one like this come along?
No. Showroom units come off our floor rarely, about once a year, and each listing is one physical machine. When it sells it is gone, and we will not list another like it. If you want this one, this is the chance.
Is this a customer return being resold?
Never. Once a scooter has been ridden and has touched the ground, we do not put it back on sale, not as Open Box and not at a discount. Do not wait for a cheap return to show up here: it will not happen. Everything on this page is a showroom unit that was never ridden.
Why is it priced below new if nothing is wrong with it?
Because it spent its time on our showroom floor instead of in a sealed box. It is the same machine you would buy new, for less. Where the same model is sold new, the unit page shows today's new price beside it so you can see the saving.
Can I return an Open Box unit?
No. Open Box units are final sale, which is exactly why we only list pristine ones. Ask us anything before you buy and our team will answer, so you know precisely what you are getting.
What warranty comes with it?
A 1-year parts warranty covering the battery, controller, motor and LCD display. It does not cover the frame, cosmetic marks, accidents, tires, brake pads, other consumables, or water damage.
