It is quicker on paper at up to 60 mph against 59, it goes further on a charge at 75 miles with the 60Ah pack against 53, and it costs $1,404 less than the Trail model and $1,904 less than the Street model. It also weighs 135 lb against 253 lb, which changes what you can do with it day to day.
Where the S4 Honcho wins
We are not going to pretend otherwise: the Honcho charges much faster. It reaches 80 percent in about two hours, while the Pro V2 takes 8 to 10 hours for a full charge on the standard 3.5A charger. If you need to turn the machine around several times a day, that matters. It is also a full motorcycle style platform with the heft and presence that comes with 253 lb, and some riders want exactly that.
The honest summary
If you want the fastest possible recharge and a full moto platform, the Honcho earns its price. If you want nearly the same top speed, more range, half the weight, and over a thousand dollars back in your pocket, the RoadRunner Pro V2 is the better value.
