Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear the charger didn’t meet your expectations in this regard.
We’d like to clarify an important aspect of how the 60V 1–10A Variable VM Electric Scooter Supercharger functions, which may help explain what you experienced.
This charger is indeed capable of delivering as low as 1 amp, but this depends on your battery's state of charge. If your battery is already close to 90% or higher, the charger will not allow you to lower the current to 1A. This is by design, as lithium battery charging behavior limits how low the current can go when the voltage is near full.
However, if your battery is at 70% or lower, you will absolutely be able to adjust the amperage down to 1A for slow, healthy charging. This is a characteristic of how smart chargers manage current relative to voltage—not a defect or limitation of the charger, but rather a feature designed to protect your battery and optimize charging performance.
We understand that expectations can vary, and we're always here to help clarify how our products work so you can get the most out of them.
