Top speed
72 mph, and we will not pretend otherwise
Its rated top speed is 72 mph. Riders have reported seeing 75 to 80 mph on smooth ground, with a lighter rider and a full charge.
We publish 72 because that is the number we stand behind. Plenty of people will go faster than that, and we would rather you beat our figure than be disappointed by someone else's.
The numbers
What it actually is
Range runs from about 40 miles ridden hard to about 80 miles in ideal conditions. Speed and range pull against each other, so treat them as two ends of the same trade rather than numbers you get at the same time.
The objection, answered
"The battery is too small". Not even close.
The Daytona runs a 72 V 40 Ah pack, which is already large for this class. People compare it to 60 Ah setups like the Fighter Supreme, but those are built for extreme range rather than balance. Carrying that much more cell weight changes how a scooter turns and stops, and 99% of riders will never outgrow this one.
It is built to feel planted rather than sluggish. That is a deliberate trade, not a corner cut.
Stability
Dual stem, dual forks, and why it matters at speed
The dual fork design gives the steering column two connection points instead of one, so the front end stays composed at high speed and under hard braking. It is a stability-first design, and on a scooter that reaches 72 mph that is the whole point.
Steering stays sharper and more precise because the reinforced front end is not flexing under load. Less flex, more of what you asked the bars to do.
Geometry
Nine points of contact, not four
Most scooters give you four: two hands, two feet. A reinforced kick plate and a precision-forged chassis give the Daytona nine, so you can brace against the machine instead of just standing on it. More grip, more leverage, more control when it matters.
The aggressive fork angle and calculated wheelbase are what make that stance usable rather than cramped.
Chassis
A backbone frame, so the chassis does not argue with you
The backbone design runs a strong central spine through the scooter, which cuts chassis flex and makes handling predictable rather than vague. Suspension and fork length are tuned for bumps, drops and loose ground, the places where lighter builds bounce out.
Tires
13 inch tires with self-sealing gel
25/60-7 front and rear. The larger 13 inch size puts more rubber on the road and rolls over broken surfaces better, which makes leaning into a turn feel smooth instead of nervous.
The integrated gel seals small punctures from nails and glass while you are still riding. On a heavy scooter at speed, a sudden flat is the failure you least want.
Brakes
Stop like a motorcycle, because it weighs like one
DOT-approved fluid lines feeding four piston hydraulic calipers, with warp-resistant rotors. Stronger bite, better control, and symmetry between front and rear so the scooter does not squirm when you grab a handful.
On something that reaches 72 mph the brakes are not a spec line. They are the entire safety margin.
Power
10 kW through Roadster controllers, designed in California
Up to 10,000 W of motor output driven by dual 72 V 60 A Roadster controllers. They were years in the making and designed in California, and they are the reason throttle response stays crisp and controlled rather than snatchy, whether you are launching from a stop or pulling hard at speed.
Battery
72 V 40 Ah of LG 21700 cells, UL2849 certified
Premium cells built for sustained high-power riding. The certification covers the whole electrical system including charging, which is the part that actually matters when a pack this size is sitting in your garage overnight. About 10 hours to charge on one charger, or about 5 with dual chargers.
Controls
A reverse finger throttle, and a 3.5 inch TFT
Traditional finger and thumb throttles strain your grip over a long ride, so the Daytona flips it. The reverse throttle is an idea the modding community got right years ago, and it gives natural control and all-day comfort.
The 3.5 inch full-color TFT is bright and readable in any light, with a high refresh rate and precise speed tracking. You can tune power output per motor from it. The buttons alongside are spaced wider and laid out to prevent misclicks with gloves on, because at a green light precision matters.
Composure
An adjustable steering damper
The damper keeps the front end calm when the surface turns rough, and the resistance is adjustable so you can dial it to your speed and your roads. Less wobble, more confidence, and it is the difference between a fast scooter you trust and one you tolerate.
Visibility
Daytime running lights along the deck
Integrated deck DRLs keep you visible in daylight as well as at night. They look good, but the real job is being seen by drivers and pedestrians who are not expecting something moving this quickly.
Living with it
380 lb rider capacity, and it still folds
A reinforced frame and a 12 inch wide deck, 23 inches long and 29 with the rear kick plate, carrying up to 380 lb of rider on a 152 lb chassis. Genuine room to move your feet, which is why it stays planted instead of getting nervous.
The folding mechanism is quick and solid when locked, so a scooter this capable still goes in the trunk. Plenty of machines at this level give that up.

Absolutely Astonished! This piece of equipment leaves some test riders speechless! I absolutely love it! My best purchase of the year! Thanks Jenkin and Joey for the customer service and live call! If it wasnt for them and there follow through I would have never even bought this. Answered my questions as needed and were very informaive.
Love the scooter and it came in perfect condition. Can't be any happier with the choice I made. Thank you 😊
Got my Daytona few weeks ago and I cant get enough of it. Built vary well! Wide handle bars and duel stem make for solid sturdy feel while riding. Love it. The scooter and I did hit the ground already and thankfully I was wearing full gear. Minimal damage to scooter and works just fine. So vary well Built! Scooter is dangerously fast! Full gear is a must. So I do need to order couple parts that just got stuffed up( I just want it to looks new again). And would like a 2nd charger for the scooter but most parts seem to be out of stock... would like to get 2nd charger and extra break pads. Along with a new side (white) plastic led housing.. please restock all the daytona parts.
Questions
Before you buy
How fast does it really go?
72 mph is the rated top speed and the number we publish. Riders have reported 75 to 80 mph in good conditions, on smooth ground with a lighter rider. Your own figure depends on your weight, the surface, tire pressure and temperature.
How far does it go on a charge?
About 40 miles ridden hard, up to about 80 in ideal conditions. Riding near the top speed shortens it considerably, so treat range and speed as a trade rather than a pair.
How long does it take to charge?
About 10 hours with one charger, or about 5 hours with dual chargers.
Is it street legal?
It is street legal in most places, but rules for electric scooters differ by city and by state and they change often. Check with your local authorities before riding on public roads so you know what applies where you live.
Is it too much scooter for me?
Possibly, and we would rather say so. 10 kW and 72 mph is a serious machine and it deserves full gear. If you are coming from something slower, start in a low ride mode, give yourself open space, and build up to it.
What warranty does it come with?
All new scooters and dirt ebikes include a 1 year factory warranty. If something goes wrong we help diagnose it and get you the right parts. Full details of what is and is not covered are on our warranty policy page.
Can I finance it?
Yes. Affirm, Klarna, Katapult and Shop Pay are all available at checkout. Approval varies by provider, so if one declines it is worth trying another.
