It can catch you off guard. You go to power up your Teverun, or you are out riding, and the scooter suddenly seems dead. The display will not come on and nothing responds. Before you worry that something is broken, take a breath, because there is a simple fix that solves this in seconds on most Teverun scooters: the green button on the left side of the deck. Press it, and your scooter wakes right back up.
Meet the green button
Most Teverun models have a small green button set into the left side of the standing deck. Think of it as a manual wake and reset for the whole scooter. When the system has gone into a deep sleep or has quietly cut power to protect itself, the normal display power button may not be enough to bring it back on its own. The green button is. It is there on purpose, it is meant to be used, and pressing it is completely safe.

How to wake your scooter back up

1Look at the left side of the deck
Stand the scooter upright and face it forward. Look along the left edge of the deck, near the base where you stand.

2Find the green button
It is a small round button, green, set into the side of the deck. Once you know it is there, it is easy to spot every time.

3Give it a firm press
One solid press is all it takes to wake the system back up.

4Power on as normal
With the scooter awake again, turn on the display the way you always do and you are ready to ride.
Why does a scooter suddenly turn off?
A sudden shutoff usually does not mean a broken scooter. The most common reasons are simple. The scooter may have sat unused long enough that it went into a deep sleep to save battery. The battery management system may have briefly cut power to protect the pack. The charge may have dropped very low. Or a hard bump may have nudged the electronics into a safe state. In almost all of these cases, the green button is exactly what brings it back to life.
If it keeps happening
