The Teverun 2.0 system uses a smart battery with its own power button. That button is how you wake the battery and bring the scooter back online, so it is one of the first things every Teverun 2.0 owner should get comfortable with. Before you start
Always handle the battery gently and keep the scooter powered off while you seat or remove the pack. Make sure the battery and its contacts are clean and dry, never force the pack into place, and confirm it is locked in before you press the button. If anything feels loose, does not seat fully, or the pack looks damaged, stop and contact us before powering it on.
What the battery button does
On the Teverun 2.0 system, the battery has a power button that wakes the pack. When the scooter has been sitting and the battery has gone to sleep, the pack can look completely inactive. Pressing the battery button brings it back online so the scooter powers up normally. Learning to use it means you will never be caught out thinking a healthy battery is dead when it has simply gone to sleep.
Installing the battery

1Power the scooter off. Make sure the scooter is switched off before you seat or swap the battery.

2Line the pack up and seat it fully. Slide the battery into its compartment squarely and push it home until it locks into position. Do not force it, it should seat smoothly when it is lined up correctly.

3Check the connection. Confirm the pack is fully engaged and locked, with the connector seated and nothing pinched or loose.

4Press the battery button to wake it. With the pack installed, press the battery power button to bring the battery online, then power the scooter on as normal.

3If nothing happens. Make sure the battery has charge, then reseat the pack and try the button again. If the scooter still will not wake, do not force anything, record a short video of what you are seeing and reach out to us.
If the scooter seems dead
Before assuming a battery fault, remember the pack may simply be asleep. Seat it properly and press the battery button first. A large share of no-power situations on the Teverun 2.0 system are solved by waking the battery, not by replacing anything.
