Shopping for an Altis Sigma handlebar or mount? The 2025 and 2026 are not the same up front. The 2026 handlebar is stronger, the compatibility is different, and the mounts changed. Here is what changed and how to order the part that fits your exact model year.

Ordering an Altis Sigma handlebar or mount? The first thing to check is your model year.

If you ride an Altis Sigma and you are shopping for a new handlebar or a handlebar mount, there is one thing to sort out before you add anything to your cart: the 2025 and the 2026 Altis Sigma are not the same up front. The 2026 handlebar is stronger, the compatibility between the two years is different, and the handlebar mounts changed. Order the wrong year and it simply will not bolt up the way it should. Here is exactly what changed and how to get the part that fits your bike the first time.

Check this first

Confirm whether you have a 2025 or a 2026 Altis Sigma before you order a handlebar or mount. The two years use different parts up front, so matching the part to your exact year is what matters most. If you are not sure which year you have, do not guess. Message us and we will confirm it for you.

What changed from 2025 to 2026

2025 Altis Sigma

Handlebar strength

The original handlebar.

Compatibility

Uses the 2025 front-end parts.

Handlebar mounts

The original mount design.

2026 Altis Sigma

Handlebar strength

Stronger, and thicker through the center clamp area.

Compatibility

Different. It uses the 2026-specific front-end parts, not the 2025 ones.

Handlebar mounts

Different. The thicker center bar needs a larger mount, so 2025 mounts do not fit.

1. The 2026 handlebar is stronger

The headline change is strength. The 2026 Altis Sigma handlebar is built tougher than the 2025 version, which is exactly what you want on a hard-charging off-road bike that takes real hits. The biggest reason it is stronger is that the middle of the bar is thicker. That center section, the part that sits in the clamp, has more material around it, so it resists bending and flex where the load is highest. It is a genuine upgrade for durability. The trade is that the thicker center bar is its own part, so it is not simply a drop-in for an older bike without accounting for the other changes below.

2. The compatibility is different

Because of that redesign, the 2025 and 2026 handlebars are not interchangeable one-for-one. The compatibility between the years is different, which means a 2026 bar is matched to the 2026 front end and a 2025 bar is matched to the 2025 front end. This is the part that trips people up, so the rule is simple: match the handlebar to your bike's model year, not to what looks close.

3. The handlebar mounts changed

The mounts changed too, and this follows directly from the thicker bar. Because the middle of the 2026 handlebar is thicker, it needs a larger mount to clamp around it. The 2025 mounting block is sized for the thinner 2025 bar, so it simply will not close around the 2026 center section, and the 2026 mount is too big for the 2025 bar. That is why the mounting hardware is not shared across the two years. On the Altis Sigma, the handlebar mounting block comes as an upper and a lower piece, and you want the set that matches your year and your bar. If you are replacing a handlebar, it is worth checking your mounts at the same time so everything lines up.

How to order the right part

  1. 1
    Confirm your model year

Know whether your Altis Sigma is a 2025 or a 2026. If you are not certain, check your order details or send us your serial number and we will confirm it.

  2. 2
Match the handlebar to that year

Pick the handlebar that matches your year. Do not assume the two years share a bar, because they do not.

  3. 3
    Match the mounts too

Get the handlebar mounting block that matches, remembering it comes as an upper and a lower piece. If in doubt, order the matching set together.

  4. 4
Not sure? Ask us before you buy

This is the easiest way to avoid a wrong part. Send us your model year or serial number and we will point you to the exact handlebar and mount for your bike.
