Mini bikes leave a grown adult folded up; full-size electric motocross bikes are heavy, expensive and intimidating to learn on. The Mantis X sits between them — a 32-inch seat, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, and 139 lbs including the battery. Light enough to pick up when you drop it, big enough to ride properly all day.

6,500 watts at peak.
A 6,500W peak system on a 72V bus, fed by an FOC sine wave controller. FOC matters more than the headline number: it delivers power smoothly across the whole throttle range instead of stepping, so you can feed in exactly as much as the surface will take. That is what makes 45-degree climbs possible without wheelspin.
2,160 watt-hours, and 800 cycles.
A 72V 30Ah lithium-ion pack carrying 2,160 Wh — 62 miles of riding, and rated for up to 800 charge cycles before it starts meaningfully losing capacity. Three to six hours puts it back. The pack is water-sealed too, so washing the bike down is not a thing you have to think about.
Four systems watching the throttle.
A magnetic kill switch that cuts power instantly. Brake sensors that drop power the moment you touch a lever, so the bike is never fighting the brakes. A kickstand sensor that puts it into Park automatically. And an adjustable speed limiter you set from the app, so you can hand it to a newer rider capped at something sensible and unlock it as they improve.
Four pistons, front and rear.
Four-piston hydraulic calipers at both ends, on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Brake feel is what lets you commit on loose ground — enough bite to scrub speed into a corner, enough progression not to wash the front out doing it.
IP66 where it counts.
The drivetrain and controller are IP66 rated and the battery is IP55, with a water-sealed 72V pack behind that. Rain, puddles and mud are ordinary operating conditions rather than a risk, and you can hose the bike down after a ride instead of picking mud out of it with a brush.
Eco, Sport, Race — and an app.
Three ride modes on the bars and a clear LCD showing speed, battery and which one you are in. The app goes further: top speed, torque delivery and the safety limits are all adjustable in seconds, so the same bike suits a cautious first session and a full-send one a month later.

This is an off-road machine and it is capable of considerably more unrestricted — ride it on private land, trails or a closed course where you have permission, and wear proper protective gear. It is not street legal in most jurisdictions; check your local rules before you buy.
Performance figures were adjusted downwards in 2026: we calculate them for a rider of 200 lbs rather than repeating the manufacturer's best case. The maximum load was adjusted the same way — it does not mean the bike cannot carry you, only that stated performance may vary.

Before you buy.
Adults who find mini bikes too cramped and full-size electric motocross bikes too much money and too much machine. A 32-inch seat and 19/17-inch wheels put you in a proper riding position, and 139 lbs is light enough to pick up on your own when you drop it — which you will.
Yes, if you use the tools it gives you. Start in Eco with the app speed limiter set low, and raise it as you get comfortable. The brake sensors and the kickstand Park sensor take a couple of classic beginner mistakes off the table. Full protective gear regardless.
Treat it as an off-road machine. In most places a bike like this will not meet the requirements to be registered for the road, and some cities restrict them outright. It belongs on private land, trails and designated riding areas — check your local rules before you buy.
Yes. The drivetrain and controller are IP66 rated and the battery is IP55 with a water-sealed pack, so rain, puddles and mud are ordinary conditions. You can wash it down afterwards without worrying about it.
