Questions people ask before applying
When do I get paid, and how?
A commission is locked until the buyer's 30 day return window closes. After that it is released, and payouts run monthly once your balance is over $100. Your very first payout also needs two referred sales, not just the balance. Impact handles the payment and will ask you for your payment details and a tax form when you join.
Do I have to own a VORO to join?
Right now, yes. Our terms require you to have bought a VORO electric scooter and kept it. The full terms are here.
What if the customer returns the bike?
Then there is no sale and no commission. That is what the 30 day hold is for. It protects the program from fraud, which is what keeps the rate at 5%.
Can I put my link on videos I already posted?
Yes. Go back and add it to the descriptions of your old videos. Content that already ranks is usually where the first commissions come from.
Can I use my own code on my own order?
No. Self-referral is not allowed and those orders will not pay a commission.
What if my viewer buys at the LA showroom instead of online?
An in-store sale is not tracked by a link, so it will not credit automatically. If you send someone to the showroom, tell us first and we will sort it out by hand.
Do you ship outside the US?
We ship across the United States. If a big part of your audience is somewhere else, say so on your application and we will tell you what we can do.
Can I run paid ads?
Only with our written go-ahead first, and never on VORO brand terms. Sales from ads we have not approved do not pay out.
I am already a VORO affiliate. Do I need to do this again?
We are moving the program to Impact. If you are already signed up we will email you about what happens to your account and your balance before anything changes.
Who do I email if something looks wrong?
Write to support@voromotors.com with your affiliate name and the order date, and we will look it up.
