Be very careful, however, to ensure that the bullet connectors never touch (the battery will give a huge spark) if you are using the version with the bullet connectors. The newer version comes with an XT30 connector that keeps the positive and negative appropriately separated.
It would be nice, however, if the part shipped with both the XT30 connector and the bullet connectors. Given that Voro shipped the wrong part (but kindly shipped the right part on a 6 week backorder), I used the bullet connectors on my old part to make it work with a little soldering to an XT30 male connector. All is good and my son's scooter is back up and running! Happy Dad, happy son, happy life! Thanks, Voro.

You're absolutely right about the caution needed when working with bullet connectors, and we appreciate you pointing that out. My Electric scooter (which I really have been enjoying) stopped charging. The scooter itself seemed fine, the battery wasn’t draining overly quickly or anything but the battery wasn’t charging when I plugged it in. I figured it was either a problem with the charging port or the power cable. Since the charging port is exposed to reasonably gnarly conditions on the underside of the scooter’s body… and the power cord never really left my house, I figured that was probably the problem. It was easy enough to change (just followed the online instruction) with one minor design change in the new part. However, it turns out my problem was the power cord! So… if you want save yourself a few days, order both parts at once. The service agent I talked to was also quite helpful.

This scooter has enough strength to get me straight up the big hill I live on! Get the handle so much easier to lift up stairs no need to fold. And the thumb throttle is a must if you are going to wear gloves.

Installed pretty easy once you get the thread started. Just wish it came with the port cover like shown in the picture.. this is for the cruiser S model only.
