Ludicrous 0-30 mph in just 3.4 seconds.
The first 72V scooter in this price category. The newest member of the family is built to be a game-changer on a daily commute: a big step up in acceleration without giving up the range, up to 56 miles on a single charge, across all the terrain you actually ride.
72V 25Ah, UL2849 certified

What you get.
A 4.3 inch touchscreen, not a button puzzle.
At the heart of the Jet is a vibrant 4.3 inch full-color touchscreen, built into the cockpit for quick access to everything you need while riding. Speed, battery, ride modes and settings are a glance and a tap away, rather than a memorized sequence of button holds on a display you cannot read in daylight.
Revised, adjustable suspension.
A revised quick-adjust suspension system lets you dial the Jet in on the fly. Found a trail mid-ride? Soften it and enjoy the detour rather than picking your way around it. Real-time adaptation is the point.
Foldable dual-stem scooter.
The dual-stem structure gives the front end the rigidity a 50 mph scooter needs, which is what keeps it composed at speed and over rough surfaces. When it is time to pack up, the quick-fold mechanism is secure and simple enough for everyday use. Good for commuters, travelers and anyone tight on space.
Never get left behind again.
Dual motors on a 72V pack put the Jet at the front of traffic rather than in the way of it. 1200W nominal per motor, 2300W peak each, 4600W peak combined. The product name quotes the peak-per-motor figure and the spec sheet quotes the nominal one, which is why you will see both numbers for the same scooter.
What's range anxiety?
Up to 56 miles on a single charge from the 72V 25Ah pack, so a week of commuting fits between charges instead of a day. Riding near the top speed shortens that noticeably, so treat speed and range as two ends of the same trade.
72V power without the bulk.
A real 72V system without the oversized build that usually comes with one. More power where it matters, without sacrificing handling or control.
Ride when you want. Not just when it's dry.
Sealed HIGO connectors, a waterproof display and a weather-protected throttle keep the systems that matter away from moisture. No exposed weak points and nothing to worry about when the forecast turns.
Built into every Jet.
Hydraulic front and rear on 160mm rotors, not cable. Consistent stopping power, minimal lever effort, less hand fatigue, and a feel that holds as the pads heat up and wear, where a cable system goes progressively vaguer.
Splashes, puddles and an unexpected downpour are within the rating. Standing water and storms are not, on this scooter or on any other, so dry it off afterwards and never charge it wet.
The thumb throttle is shaped to sit naturally in your hand, so acceleration is smooth and consistent with very little effort. On a long ride that is the difference between comfortable and cramped.
Genuinely tubeless, so a small puncture tends to seal and hold pressure instead of leaving you at the roadside, and you can run sealant if you want more margin. Eleven inches of wheel also swallows the expansion joints and pothole lips that unsettle a smaller scooter at speed.
A 72V 40A sinewave controller delivers the power progressively rather than in a lurch, which is how the Jet reaches 30 mph in about 3.4 seconds and still feels manageable while it does it.
A built-in rear taillight keeps you visible from behind in low light, and the tire hugger shields your clothing from the dirt and spray the rear wheel throws up. Practical, and it looks right.
The battery and electrical system are UL2849 certified.
UL2849 is the North American safety standard that covers the complete electrical system of an e-scooter, the battery, the charger and the wiring together, rather than the cells on their own. The Jet's 72V 25Ah pack is certified to it, and it charges on the 72V 2A charger in the box.
The most comprehensive reviews.
The numbers.
Full technical specification.
Performance figures were adjusted downwards in 2026. We now calculate them for a rider of 200 lbs rather than repeating the manufacturer's best case, so some of our numbers are lower than the ones printed on the box. Heavier riders should expect less speed, less range and slower hill climbing; lighter riders should meet or beat these figures. The maximum load was adjusted on the same basis: it does not mean the scooter cannot carry you, it means the performance above is not what you will see at that weight. Riding near the top speed shortens range noticeably, so treat speed and range as two ends of the same trade rather than numbers you get at once.
RS Jet, or one of the others.
The Jet is the compact, aggressive one: shorter handlebar, adjustable swingarm height, and lighter than the full-size RS. If outright top speed and the biggest pack matter more to you than agility, the RS is the scooter to look at instead. Figures are the ones each product publishes on its own page, taken from the highest-specified variant of each: the Cruiser V2 AWD is the 60V model, and the RS figures are the Midnight.

Great!
Thank you so much for the 5 star rating!
The scooter that can go places. 240# rider in this clip. The battery life is much more plentiful compared to the other brands we tried out as a family of 5.
We’re glad to hear it’s handling off-road terrain confidently and delivering strong performance even with a 240 lb rider. It’s especially great to know the battery life stood out compared to other brands your family tried that’s exactly what the RS Jet is built for.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave this review, and we’re happy the whole family is enjoying the ride.

We’re thrilled to hear that you love your InMotion RS Jet and that it’s the best scooter you’ve bought. Enjoy every ride, it’s an incredible machine!
This scooter is amazing!!! It’s very fast and the acceleration is insane!!! (Would not recommend for beginners).
Thank you for your review, I am glad that you enjoy the RS Jet! Ride in good health!
Before you buy.
It is built for both. The 4.3 inch touchscreen carries ride modes and a speed limit you can set before you hand it over, so a new rider starts conservative and moves up as they get comfortable with the 72V system. What you cannot make beginner-friendly is the weight: at 90 lbs this is a lot of scooter to catch if it goes over, and 50 mph deserves respect and gear.
Yes. The IPX6 rating covers light rain, puddles and damp roads. Avoid full submersion and extreme weather, dry it off afterwards, and never charge it wet.
Absolutely. It supports the same 330 lbs maximum load as the RS and runs dual 1200W motors that peak at 2300W each. It is built for serious performance and durability.
Not at all, but regular maintenance is what keeps it in shape: check tire pressure, keep the battery charged, and check the brakes from time to time.
The Jet is tuned for aggressive, compact performance. It has a shorter 705mm handlebar, adjustable swingarm height, and weighs only 41kg, which makes it lighter and more agile than the full-size RS variants.
Use the touchscreen to switch ride modes and adjust throttle response. Turn the top speed down before they get on, and turn it back up afterwards.
Around 9 to 10 hours from empty with the included 72V 2A charger, which makes it an overnight machine rather than one you top up at lunch.
No. It arrives 95% assembled. Attach the handlebars, double-check that everything is tightened to spec, and ride. All the tools you need are in the box.
