Here is an important update for every Teverun 2.0 owner. Teverun has simplified the keys that come with the scooter. Going forward, all Teverun 2.0 scooters ship with one remote control and one black Teverun NFC key. That is the complete set. The previous green and red keys are no longer included, and this new remote plus NFC key is the only set that comes in the box.
What changed
Teverun 2.0 scooters used to come with a green and a red key. That has been replaced. Every Teverun 2.0 now comes with one remote control and one black Teverun NFC key, and nothing else in the key set. This applies across the Teverun 2.0 lineup.
What comes with your Teverun 2.0 now
The black Teverun NFC key
The black card is your Teverun NFC key. You tap it on the scooter to enable the system, the same way you would tap a contactless card. Keep it somewhere safe and handy, because it is now the key that brings the scooter to life.
The remote control
The remote control fob handles locking and unlocking the scooter and the alarm functions from a short distance. It rides on a keyring with a clip so it is easy to keep on you or on your bag.
Good to know
Because this is now the only key set, we recommend keeping both the remote and the NFC key together and in a safe place. If you ever misplace one, reach out to us and we will help you get a replacement.
What happened to the green and red keys
The older green and red keys have been retired for the Teverun 2.0. The new remote and black NFC key take their place. If you have an older scooter that came with the green and red keys, those still work as they always have. This change is simply what is included with Teverun 2.0 scooters going forward.
